Population forecasts point to a levelling of global population below 10 billion before 2050. If these predictions are correct, human inginuity might permit us to get to peak population and beyond without irrevocably destroying our planet. Part of the solution is government policy. Another part is changing the way we live and consume. But the major part may be our ability to innovate to solve the problem of feeding the world without destroying the planet. This is our quest.
